Princess Sophia

Princess Sophia
My name is Sophia Grace Crawford and I am one year old. I have been diagnosed with Batten Disease, a rare and incurable genetic disease that will cause me to lose the little sight that I have, worsening seizures, loss of the ability to move my arms and legs, and will ultimately leave me bed ridden. And it is always fatal. I will leave this world within the next two years but I don't know exactly when. Until then, my Mommy and Daddy want to help me bring awareness to Batten Disease. Please come on this journey with me so that, together, we can celebrate each day that I have left!

Who's a Movie Star? I'm a Movie Star! :)

Thanks to Chick-fil-A in Hamburg Pavilion, Lexington, KY for helping the F.O.P. (Fraternal Order of Police Union) hold a fundraiser to support me and my beautiful friend Madelyn Canter. Me and Maddie had so much fun (we were passed around from person to person but still didnt fuss....well, not too much fussing anyway!). We were worn out by the end of the day and our mommy's could tell (our mommy's could tell because we told 'em!). Thank you to LEX18 and Channel 27 NewsFirst for interviewing our Mommy's and Daddy's and putting us on television. Maddie and I played it cool and didnt talk hardly at all during the interview but we tried to smile a little--did you see us?!
